Mark Cain spent over 25 years working in software, medical devices, security, and privacy. Having an overdeveloped interest in important things that get overlooked, and being fascinated by science, he started Somnia EMF.

Somnia EMF is for two kinds of people.

Foremost, it’s to support those whose health has been impacted by man-made types of energy. The tech industry has done its best to downplay these issues. Doctors barely recognize there’s a problem and instead prescribe drugs to suppress the symptoms. Those who suffer in isolation can end up second guessing their sanity.

These people need sensible and practical help, not gimmicks or scams.

Somnia EMF also exists to provide a reasonable approach for those who value a healthy lifestyle. Most people haven’t noticed any negative effects from EMF. Most of us ate Fruit Loops with FD&C Red No. 3 (erythrosine) and survived… but we know we don’t need more...of either. It's why we do this.

A Note from Mark

I was putting an addition on my house and noticed the plan for the electric meter (the main path of all my home’s incoming power). It was positioned directly behind the head of my bed. I've been in the technology and the medical industry for years, but I had not studied the biology of EMFs. Yet, even I recognized immediately—this was a Bad Idea. I had to be sure. I did my research.

I bought an inexpensive meter to see some of this EMF for myself. I was surprised to discover that my bedroom was effectively encased in a high magnetic field of alternating current similar to the exposures one would get when living near high-tension power lines. I went all in to learn more. The result?

I started Somnia EMF.

I survived sleeping in that EMF environment for 25 years. Now I'm happy to take a break from it and spend the next 25 years with peace of mind.
